Жертвами лесных пожаров в американском штате Калифорния стали как минимум 25 человек.
Ситуация ухудшается из-за сильного ветра, из-за чего пламя быстро распространяется. Огонь бушует на более чем 400 кв. км. По данным местных властей и СМИ, это одни из самых разрушительных пожаров в истории Калифорнии.

Кроме того, в штате продолжаются разрушения. Так, в городе Пэрэдайс, большая часть которого сгорела накануне, уничтожены более 6,7 тысяч домов и офисных зданий.
